About the classes
Structured lessons
At the start of very class we will learn various upholstery topics. Antonia will use discussion, slideshow/video &/or demonstrations to teach you the fast-track method to upholstery learning.
Work on your chair
Bring your own simple armchair, stools, dining chairs etc to work on during second half of the evening. Each student will have their own workstation, staple gun and other upholstery tools to use.
Learn how to start and complete
Antonia will help you step by step to complete your project. You will start with stripping down the chair, measuring up fabric, replacing support bases and comfort cores, and finally working with your fabric.

Each class goes for 8 weeks
6.45pm to 9pm

- Back tack techniques: cardboard tack strip, plygrip (flexible), metal tack strips
- Upholsterers slip stitch
- Decorative nails & trim
Week 8
- Dustcloths
- Care of upholstered furniture
